Yesterday we announced that I need to step down as C.O.O of mylifeautistic. I will still be supporting the community but just in a different role.
I have been planning something for 4 months but recent pain levels made it seem impossible. However I had an amazing email recently. To be honest I think it’s the perfect way for me to end this chapter and begin a new one. I will predominantly be working creating media, content, as well as being media representative and spokesperson for mylifeautistic.
However to pull this off in time I need help, from followers, caregivers and advocates across the UK.
Service Graphics in London have very kindly agreed to partner with mylifeautistic for a Christmas campaign.
They will produce 31 single colour banners with the words “I believe in a #NewLifeAutistic” and a QR code (to link to the mylifeautistic website). Each banner will also say “Service Graphics proudly supports mylifeautistic and the New Life Autistic campaign”. The idea is that a banner is installed at a location in a UK city each day of December.
By the end of December there will be a spectrum of coloured banners across the UK. In the movie “Miracle on 34th Street” there is a scene when Santa is on trial. Anyone that believed in Santa put out the sign “I believe”. I loved it so much I’m borrowing the idea and recreating it in the real world with an Au-thentic twist. Jeni and I would love people to create images and posts regarding the “I believe in a new life autistic” campaign. Encouraging others to create posters and put them in shops and cafes, homes and businesses. So that by the end of the campaign it’s truly reached the community/caregivers, and gives a reassuring end to 2022.
That a New Life Autistic is just a matter of time.
