Tyred

Isolation feels like invisible fingers,

A grip so tight,

It takes your very breath,

As loneliness wraps round your neck.

Same scene a constant,

Windows just provide a bitter reminder,

Life is there,

Just beyond the walls.

Like the day after the fight,

Body heavy and discomforting,

The physical demands,

Put on to crumbling stone.

Pain on a scale,

So how does it feel,

Like my life was a car,

And I’m the wheel...

People live with pain every day.

Living, with pain, that is so much harder.

All my best and love
