Not the night before Christmas but a few days before,
The presents were scattered all over the floor,
For a creature was stirring and it was a mouse,
Being chased by a Jack Russell all over the house,
The mouse and the dog were darting around,
It was like a scene from the movie “The Fox and The Hound”,
The mouse went for the tree to hide away,
But the dog just dove in, much to my parents dismay,
Suddenly the tree fell down and most of the baubles fell,
As my dad tried to stop them and let out a yell,
This was a Christmas that I’ve had before,
And a chaotic memory that I absolutely adore.
