Everyone that is involved in the Christmas campaign is doing it unpaid, not a single penny has changed hands. We have been really lucky to find people that understand what we are trying to do and have offered to help in some way.
In a monetised world that doesn’t give everyone access, this is a project based purely on the value of people, and the idea that we should all have somewhere we belong. That a New Life Autistic isn’t just a dream but a potential future. Where autistic people, and people in general are truly accepted for the unique individuals we all are.
A future where the diversity of humanity is celebrated the world over. I didn’t think this was going to be possible last year, that it was too big an idea and not enough time. However the response was truly incredible. We really wanted to achieve this, and in doing so create masses of hope around the world for the new year. For millions of people, worldwide, and especially for our extended autistic family.
