Each person, say, has at most has 100 years on this planet. To me that means you borrow it for that period. During that time, you can either live in the moment, get caught up playing the game of life, the idea getting most things means you win or you can make your mark by contributing to the world yet to come.
If we really don’t start fixing things what are we leaving our children and their children’s children? Effectively we could be leaving them one step closer to a better life or all of our problems to deal with plus their own. Is that really what we want? If things remain exactly as they are, that’s pretty much going to happen.
The internet can reach billions of people, imagine if we just found some common ground. Some things we can all agree on that will benefit lives yet to be lived. Even one would be a great start.
So I invite you to make one suggestion in the comments below. One hope, something we could change now to positively impact the future. For me it would be that we start looking at people for what their values are. Imagine how many people could be accepted, truly accepted if we did that.
