Sensory triggers are a huge problem for me. Unfortunately this has been a major problem lately. The housing association that we rent from is renovating all the kitchens over a period of several months. At the end of the month I will be going to stay with my parents. Hearing the men working in properties near by has been tough enough. It’s caused a panic attack pretty much every time I wake and they are working. So I won’t be able to cope with being in the flat when our kitchen is done. I will post the odd Image but I will be quiet for a few days. I need to prepare for the physical and mental demands of traveling. However when I’m there I’m sure my dad would love to say hello. I can’t say exactly when I’ll be posting as usual again. Possibly between the 5th and 10th, depending on how long it takes to recuperate when I’m back. Jeni is free to post but I’m not putting any pressure on her. If anyone is interested in adding a caregiver or community comment while I’m away please just send a post via direct message. Jeni and I will look at it and one of us will get back to you. I must admit I am really dreading travelling but I don’t get to see my parents much because of where they live. It will be nice to just spend some time with them and soak up the quiet instead of waking to intense sounds every morning. I am taking a small break but I will pop up from time to time and hope to do a few lives while I’m away.
