I just wanted to ask a question.
The most recent statistics state that autistic people are up to 9 times more likely to commit suicide (previous figures had that estimated at 3 times higher). A very high level of PTSD and c-PTSD in the community, often from interactions as a child and rarely getting access to an autistic therapist. If they get access to a therapist at all, and if they don’t feel safe they won’t open up. Often there is little education due to environment, and so access to work is limited. Homelessness and every kind of abuse you can think of are also both too common...
If this was any other community, any other group of people in society... wouldn’t there be a massive outcry for things to change?
