Media Partner

Access for the autistic and neurodivergent community doesn’t seem to be on the same level as it is for neurotypical people. I am not having a go, as much as I’m just saying that I genuinely understand the need for organisations like The Disabled People’s Channel.

The mylifeautistic community YouTube channel is just waiting for community content. Videos creating understanding and acceptance are awesome and will be gladly welcome. However I’d love to get entertainment made for the community by the community and caregivers. This can be music, short films, animation, poetry, honestly whatever speaks to you, because if it speaks to you, it might to others too.

That is why I am truly honoured to announce that The Disabled People’s Channel will be an official mylifeautistic partner. They will help edit and create media for the community YouTube channel as well as help with community projects in general.

Julien is an experienced editor who began the project when his epilepsy meant he wasn’t able to continue working. A former editor for the BBC news, he works with a core group with disabled ladies from Newcastle, Colchester & Los Angeles, who have appeared in previous videos.

I really admire and appreciate what they all do. If you are interested in creating something for the community channel or need help with a project, please do get in touch with them.

Julien will keep me up to date and hopefully within a few months we will have loads of content for the community. Multilingual and sign language content are most definitely appreciated. Please be aware they are a small team and there may be a delay depending on their current workload.
