Have you, seen me?
I was lost a long time ago,
I wandered away,
When I wasn’t looking,
Unfortunately I kept going,
I don’t know where I went,
The one inside,
The real me,
I just kept drifting along in life,
But I desperately searched,
One day I found someone,
They knew I was heartbroken,
But picked me up anyway,
Carrying me on their journey,
We began searching far and wide,
I felt like a body without a spirit,
Another step just unobtainable,
Still held frozen inside and out,
Frightened and astray,
But not alone...
Not anymore,
Misplaced in my head,
Surrounded by a twister of fear and doubt,
A lone but recognisable figure sat,
Beyond lost, huddled in the centre.
It took soft words often spoken,
And an warm open heart,
Compassion and understanding,
A loving hand that kept reaching down,
That’s what it took to get, me back.
Emerging embraced,
Perfectly whole,
Carried no more,
Finally free,
To be who I was meant to be
All the best

If your wife ever doubts your love all she needs to do is read this. Beautifully said.
To my wife - If the word “love” was created for anyone, to me it was made perfectly for you.
I will never be able to describe the feelings I have for my wife. How do you put into words about someone who gave you access to the world … and that was just one of the amazing things she brought into my life. I don’t have those words but these are some I do have.
