There is value in "you"

I have often been called naive (amongst other things) throughout my life. I fully admit I don’t see the layers in society that some do and I still have hope this world can be changed and made better. I have had to learn some things about society to be able to do this. I often see what, to me, can be a very brutal world. It’s actually worse than I’d realised and that’s so tough. Discovering too many people feel like a shadow in this world was difficult for me. It is hard knowing that I feel that myself but to know I’m far from alone in that, that’s pretty heart-breaking. We have all these people on the planet but too many of us still feel alone. The truth is it often comes down to money. Imagine everyone woke up tomorrow really loving themselves. Now think of the companies that would go out of business. The reason is if we feel bad about ourselves we will buy things we don’t need to feel better. As far as I’m concerned, if you share my core values, understanding, compassion and respect, then you are absolutely perfect the way you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise...
