Jeni and I have been talking a lot and planning for the coming months. My pains already started to increase, while this new medication does seem to help it only takes the edge off the pain. It is and probably will always be there.
Pain impacts focus and that in turn can disrupt mental processing. Essentially it can make it hard to write, and Jeni is just finding her coping strategies so she can be in a similar position. To reduce pressure on us both (self enforced granted) we have decided that at least for the next few months we are going to try something different.
We will post to groups 2/3 times a week, but try to have at least some additional content on the page and website. What we are thinking about is changing format, and it is actually the reason for the current fundraiser. If we can get Jeni set up running the technology side of things it takes pressure off me. It also means we can do videos and lives when writing just isn’t possible for us. It will also mean potentially our own podcast and videos for the YouTube channel.
We love that our words touch hearts and make a difference in this world. I have to adjust for weather and pain levels, Jeni has to adjust to meeting her after a long time of herself being hidden away.
However, we want to reassure that we will keep going, keep supporting and creating the world that shouldn’t have ever been denied. One that works for individuals, after all that shouldn’t be too much to ask for.
All our best and love

We hope by making these adjustments to the page and how we interact on social media, we can actually do more in the long run.
