Apology

Before I took time off I think I may have unintentionally upset some people with the choice of placeholder logo. That was the exact opposite of my intention, and I genuinely do apologise for that.

I want Au-thentic to be a place were we can all be our true authentic selves. Everyone in the community, that wants it should have a place there, absolutely no exceptions. That was the message I was trying to send with the placeholder logo and I’m genuinely sorry if that’s not how it came across.

My line is clearly defined and actually really simple. I don’t judge people with values, only those that don’t have them, put simply, that intentionally hurt others. The value of people is in our minds and they are diverse, different and unique, especially in our community.

I may not always say the right thing, but I do promise my heart will always be in the right place and I am trying incredibly hard to do the right thing for everyone.

Besides, if we do manage to create this platform it needs to be with the intent of all of us respecting that we are different and entitled to a voice. If that’s not done then there will be people that don’t feel they belong there and that’s not what I’m trying to create. It should be a place that is accepting and does allow for individuality. Even if you have to agree to disagree, no one gets left out. We have all been there and I am not doing that to a single member of the community, or caregivers.

If that’s not what it’s going to be, if creating that isn’t possible then I am the wrong person to be doing this.
