My words failed me, as I didn’t know what to say,

But, I told you that I loved you, just in a different way,

I couldn’t say what love was, a mystery undefined,

But, when I felt your heart I knew it was so kind,

We’ve travelled an arduous road, that we had never planned,

But, we walk the journey together, always hand in hand

Saying “My wife” doesn’t sum up all that you are,

That, to me, in my nights, you are my star.
